Alternative Processes

As a departure from my normal work, I’ve started a Cyanotype project creating my visual interpretations of English Idioms.

This involves using (mostly) my film negatives to produce contact negatives to print the Cyanotype photocomposite image. To make the contact negative,
I’ve used digital techniques… 19th and 21st century photographic processes combined.

A few of the Van Dyke prints here use ‘old’ family photographs – not quite all my own work!
